Reproductive and Sexual Health – Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) kits
Delivering integrated care after sexual violence by ensuring 100% availability of PEP kits
Global Strategies and Panzi Hospitals
An estimated 40,000 women in DRC suffer sexual violence every year. Administering PEP kits in a post-conflict environment to prevent HIV transmission and pregnancy was a serious challenge due to unpredictable demand, limited supplies and a dangerous post-conflict environment.
Supply chain modules have been used to track consumption of PEP kits, opportunistically balance stock between clinics, and prevent stock outs.
Logistimo has been able to reduce the barriers of access to reproductive health commodities. Panzi hospitals across the board have been able to maintain high stock-availability and serve an increasing number of sexual violence survivors.
